Unsure of future

Hello my names Greg I've had my ms since I was 19 I'm 32 now recently in the last year I have noticed a decline on my flair ups with no meds taken but my body seems to have accepted the issues it's caused I still feel bad but it's almost like it's went dormant. My question really is what's next and if anyone else has had this happen to them as well

  1. Hello and welcome, (Greg)!

First off, I am glad you took the time to post in this community. As far as what to expect with your MS, I can't really answer that. Do you know what form of MS you have been diagnosed with? Also, there are plenty of people with MS that experience a lessening or absence of symptoms or progression for months and even years. Generally, those people have RRMS (Relapsing Remitting MS) -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/what-is-ms/relapsing-remitting. Have you had any recent MRIs to see what the lesion activity is looking like?

You could be in a period of remission, but only a doctor say that for certain.

I do hope you are and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions!

    Best, Erin, Team Member.

    1. I was told I have rrms I currently do not have a doctor due to COVID I lost the one I had and it's been hard with finding a new one with the insurance I have the last time I had an MRI I was told there were no new lesions
